Music Evolution seems to be on the rise

I'm not a music history expert, but as a mere listener of the different kinds of music I think I can say with confidence that
it has evolved a great deal over the years.
I mean going way back a few thousand years up until now.
I mean, there's the beat, every kind of music has a flow like a pulse
It could be a one two, one two three or it could zigzag or just be this nice long
breeze like whoa...
Anyway, the classical stuff is pretty complicated with an orchestration - the greatest of all old musical scores
stand the test of time.
And now, suddenly there are computers and composing or just learning how to play guitar can become
a mixture of high technical software and sophistication
But still, there's something to it
all that is undefinable
I don't think I am going out on a limb here to say that if you take somewhat small slices of the past
in music and place them all on a scale of growth that indicates variation...
-well, it is advancing at a greater pace as we go forward in time
I guess you could compare that to the expanding Universe
- not trying to start some strange secret music conspiracy here, but
well, I mean if you do the math....
It's kind of cool
even if we can't go back to hear the Neanderthal song with any kind live recording
I think we can imagine those winds cascading through the trees and
the strange myriad of sounds they might have heard late at night
while huddling in a dark cave for warmth
I envision them
sorting as a clan humming that old Beatles tune The Sheik Of Araby
-cause they can't really figure who they are or just how they got where
they were.
And isn't that relatable to common day in some strange way???
