Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus said Friday that it's likely more officers will be implicated in the bribery scandal centered on ship supply company Glenn Defense Marine Asia that has already snared six officers.
"I think it's fair to say there will be more disclosures coming on Glenn Defense Marine," Mabus said at a Pentagon news briefing when asked if he expected more arrests of officers."What kind of disclosures those are I'm not at liberty to say.
"I certainly don't think we've seen the end of it."
So far, two ship commanders have been charged in federal court in San Diego with taking bribes orchestrated by Leonard Glenn"Fat Leonard: Francis, the chief executive of Glenn Defense. Two captains were suspended or reassigned by the Navy for their connection to the company, and two admirals lost access to classified materials while the Navy investigates their connections with Francis.
