Came trotting across the yard with a purpose and went to the patio door. I’m wondering what is going on, then I smelled skunk. To the boog those striped cats equals a long bath if he gets tangled up with them. He made for the loveseat as I opened up patio door and gave me a look be careful man it’s dangerous outside.

1 quart (2 500ml bottles) hydrogen peroxide 3 percent (U.S.P). It must be fresh (it expires after 6 months, and it must be fresh to work)
1/4 cup baking soda
1 to 2 teaspoons liquid soap (Ivory Liquid Cleanser or Softsoap are most effective) <<<<liquid dish detergent works better, in my opinion palmolive or dawn etc
1 quart lukewarm water (only needed for very large dogs)

has to be made fresh, can't store it. don't get the dog wet first, use the mixture. plain water seems to make skunk spray bind and hang around longer! for outdoors and on objects you can use a teaspoon or two of regular laundry bleach instead of the H2O2 and I have even used that on a dog when I was out of peroxide, it works but might be harsh on everybody.
