Is Anyone Watching The Carmichael Show?

I thought it might be interesting to people here. Each episode is tackling a major social and political themes. There have been the following:

- people living together
- divorce
- gun control
- civil protests
- Christianity vs. spirituality
- dealing with LGBTQ identity

The most amazing thing about the show is that the issues are unresolved at the end. One group is for, one group is against, and they come to terms with their differing views. I wanted to find out if anyone had seen it, because I applaud it for tackling extremely different issues... in a half hour.

I like it and I do like they give both sides of any issue and let's the viewer decide what to think. Decent show. It was renewed for a second season for next summer.

The actors are kicking ass in it, very funny and very informative and intelligent.

Too intelligent for American audience, I fear.

Yes, they dont resolve the issues, the girlfriend is the liberal and the male lead is the moderate, neither could be considered rightwingers, but in a perfect world they simply dont exist anyway.

Yes, this is a good show, very good show

And Grier is funny as hell, as usual.
