http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=7210567even though there is nothing hide-worthy. I just want folks to acknowledge their hypocrisy on BLM.
Bad when DU African American supporters defend BLM and say economic justice does not pre-empt social justice. Good when Elizabeth Warren says it.

(89,249 posts)There have already been to many cases of hypocrisy.
But i was thinking the same thing reading that thread.
Funny seeing the comments from some that there never was any dispute over it.

And for the record - you and Randy are right.

(24,544 posts)group have been saying for months and have had every jackal on DU climbing down our backs as a result.
Although there are a small handful that are trying their hardest to NOT understand what she's saying and to minimize the attacks from certain quarters on Black Lives Matter and black people in general (there are even a few saying, "where was BLM attacked?1 I never saw that!1one" or "it was just one protester that we attacked!1one ), I think a sizeable number of folks know that Warren just drank their milkshake and handed them back an empty cup.

(31,819 posts)That's why I'm not wasting my time. Too much fakey fake going on there. Let them believe it. If that's how they are able to be right with themselves when they go to bed at night - the more power to them.
The struggle continues!

(31,819 posts)We have someone complaining that body cameras won't help to build trust - and no one wants to be micromanaged.
One - they work for me.
Two - if I can't trust my employees - then I need surveillance on them at all times.
Three - They need to shut up and do their jobs.
The hours you wear that uniform - you aren't an individual. Yor rights end when your incompetence causes my taxes to go up because someone sues the town and wins.

(24,562 posts)it was pretty damn funny watching them trip over their feet trying to walk back what has been said for months. I went back and skimmed over the thread since I posted early, and there sure were a lot of folks missing who loved to jump on BLM and taunt bravenak and others. Wonder if they missed the speech or were ducking for cover?

(32,886 posts)Retch-inducing too. As I said in several posts, playing games where the life and death of a vulnerable minority is at stake.

(24,544 posts)than one individual. And the "calling BLM "thugs" was just us expressing our enthusiasm for our candidate! We aren't racist" and "well, we only went after ONE BLM protestor. So what if we called this young woman everything but a child of God because she interrupted a speech by Bernie Sanders. She's the only one we slimed in the most racist and craven way imaginable" posts were a close second and third in their bewildering stupidity.
And that last comment isn't even true on top of being bewildering. They went after the whole damn movement with their "BLM is a Hillary plant" and "BLM is working to elect Hillary and is funded by George Soros" BS. I guess they think we forgot.
AA forum made me proud as hell in that OP. Seriously proud.

"Where was BLM attacked?"
DO WHAT??? DO WHAT???
Hands down, those threads were the UGLIEST comments I have ever seen here. Ever.
Now they're saying they never happened?
I've said it before and I'll say it again, some things you just can't unsee.
Couldn't agree more...

(25,495 posts)The sudden memory loss, excuses, feigned ignorance. No wonder people like that are wrong about everything, they go right into denial. And still they can't help but fling the usual Hillary insults even when the topic at hand has nothing to do with her. I really, really, really hate when they do that "I've never seen anything like that here" thing -- beyond annoying because their victimhood at the hands of vicious Hillary supporters are indeed, nothing I've ever seen here.
