What do you think?
I think he's going to walk just like Casey Anthony. His daddy will take the profits from his racist fiction novel and put Georgie on a private jet to Ohio or some place.
What says you?

Regardless, he's managed to divide the country even further than even I thought possible.

It is nauseating that the media is defending poor Georgie when Trayvon has no voice to defend himself.

I don't know what to think about that state--it's like a little banana republic; they can't do a damn thing right--they can't count votes, and they can't convict killers.

(24,544 posts)understandable concern??!
For every post calling that thread out for being the racist foolery that it is, there are two people responding as if the OP has made the most logical, reasonable points in the world!!

But I will say here - I'm far more concerned about IndieTeaPublican 2nd Amendment Obama the black man is taking our guns away.
They have spent 5 years getting ginned up on Fox News Propaganda and have shown time and again their lack of civility and hair trigger tempers and petulance about not getting their way.
They are petulant little snots who "want their way" at all costs. ANY kind of conviction is going to put these people into a blind rage.
Especially with the recent kicking up of articles describing Georgie's background and influence. Oh yeah - and his mutheeeer is a Sof proclaimed racist who doesn't like black people. Oh - wait. Maybe she likes the "good ones".
It's the mentality.

(31,828 posts)I've shifted. I think Mr. Guy just closed it off pretty succinctly. If it was any one of my nephews - I would walk have walked out of the court room for lunch with a deep tension relieving breath.
I really deeply believe that he 'spoke for' Trayvon. For a second - I though Mr. Guy was 16 years and 22 days old. Walking home from the store - with no idea that his life was going to end.
I have to give full disclosure -
In April 13, 1991 my cousin was the 13th Murder in Rochester NY. Long story short - his murderer was never brought to justice in our Criminal Justice System. He actually turned snitch on drug dealers in 1995. In 1996 he got a bullet in HIS brain. In 2004 I had the good fortune of dating a D.A. who had been a little pup who worked drug cases in the early 1990's. It was a picture on my wall - and that's the only 'peace' my family ever had.
My cousin was driving from his parents home in posh Pittsford, NY to his girlfriends house with Nyquil, oj, kleenex and jello. The wegmans bag was found on the ground, his watch still on him, the car still running. It was a gang initiation. Go back to 1991 and the 'crack' culture in America. The victim was a senior of U o R, an officer in his frat, a youth leader in Mt. Olivet Baptist church. He was also black. In Rochester NY - in 1991 - when there was a 'crack culture'.
So full disclosure - this is not the same circumstances. But I'm extremely focused on victims having a voice.
They just need someone to speak for them - that's all.
And Mr. Guy - he spoke for the victim. He spoke for Trayvon.

They're waiting for "riots in the streets" though, down Flori-DUH way!!
Because that's the next "logical step"--or so say people who have gotten away with murder.
And who KNOW they've gotten away with murder.
