I love the Melissa Harris-Perry Show ...

I learned something today from the shop (actually, re-learned).

They were discussing the ACA and 2014 elections ...

Ron Christie, the republican strategist, was talking about what a failure the ACA is citing to his premiums having risen, his doctor not being in the network (and one other factor that I cannot remember) and then stated that his personal results are the experience of "Many others."

Of course the rest of the panel slapped Christie's argument around; but Democratic Strategist, Tara McDowell, made a great observation regarding what Democrats need to do ... She stated that facts regarding the Christie's experience being true to him (maybe) but that is NOT the result MOST people are experiencing.

Then she pivoted and talked about "Messaging" versus "Message Penetration" ... the gop has the discipline to have their message penetrate; whereas, Democrats have not shown this discipline. The gop will say their same fact-free message, over and over, until it becomes fact in the electorate; whereas, Democrats can't seem to do that.

I guess it might have something to do with the liberal's greatest perceptional fear ... being seen as doing ANYTHING in "lock-step" with anyone ... we ... must ... prove ... our ... free-thingness!

I won't post what was said, but it was worth reading to get the professor's resume. I'm impressed with her from what I read on DU.

though I would like to talk to her about her somewhat affected "angry Black woman" routine that she does with all the neck popping and eye rolling. But her content and panelists are always top notch.

I knew of her because of her parents' Civil Rights work ... this was before he started her TV appearances.

And is white bigot con moron's worst enemy, cuz she is smarter than they are, she knows how they think, and she will not stop saying what has to be said.

America, or much of it, went insane the day Obama was elected, and they are trying to destroy our economy, our air, our water, our entire environment due to their white hot blind hate for "that one" as the "Bomb Bomb Iran" McCain said.

I am personally surrounded by rightwing morons, who still tell N word jokes, just not around me, they know better.

But it sickens me that I am in the same area code of them let alone town or work environment.

Speaking of ACA, i have a son who will go into a treatment program in a couple days ONLY because I made sure he signed up for Obamacare - he likely would have died without it, may still, but he has a chance now...

THANK YOU MR. PRESIDENT...
