In memory of Peter Matthiessen - how many of his books have you read?

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/04/06/books/peter-matthiessen-author-and-naturalist-is-dead-at-86.html

I regret to say I've only read 3: The Snow Leopard, At Play in the Fields of the Lord, and In the Spirit of Crazy Horse. All three of them, amazing, exquisite, intense.

I think I will most certainly endeavor to expand that list in the coming weeks, probably starting with Shadow Country.

Good journey, Peter.

I'll read the Watson trilogy and add the non-fiction to an already long list of stuff I want to read.

His time on earth was spent well, and I'm grateful that he left us the wonderful gift of his books.

It was life-changing for me - although I don't expect it will hit everyone the same way. But it's an exquisitely beautiful book on so many levels.

And I've got to read Shadow Country for sure!
