while the main story is good (It's Warren Ellis) this spin off series is kind of grabbing me more than the main stories. Apparently the Wildstorm universe is one in which most of our traditional heroes are assholes (the villain of this story is a wealthy Green Arrow who traps folk on his private island and hunts them), but it works pretty well.

But the winner for me is Unbeatable Squirrel Girl; it's one of those gimmicks you will either love or hate (basically Squirrel's library is about to be torn down and she gets her friends to help save it by drawing comics. Also Jim Davis drawing Galactus. Anyway I enjoyed it; but I can totally see other people being annoyed bit it (and in fairness it hits about 60% of the time, which is ok for a Humor comic, but I might feel differently in another style of book).
