My favorite of the new DC is Batwoman. Not Batgirl. Batwoman. The art and storytelling are amazing. I am reminded of Alan Moore's Promethea, especially in the way that the panels are arranged on the page to tell several stories at once. The colors are vivid. And, best of all, Batwoman feels like a real flesh and blood woman, who happens to be rich, gay and troubled by the fact that as a child she witnessed the death of her mother---very much like Batman, in fact, except that the homosexuality is not sublimated or closeted. I can not recommend this one highly enough. It's too bad that Gena Davis is not ten years younger. She would be a perfect Batwoman.

(25,586 posts)but the story was just too incoherent after a while. I imagine it would read better in a trade, but as a monthly I found it irritating. I dropped it around #12.

(59,305 posts)keep an eye out for the graphic though, thinking of getting the Red Lantern/Green Lantern new 52 Graphics, and Flash/Aquaman. I all ready get a ton of monthlies(it seems like a ton) not sure I want to add more to the list, but I feel like I'm missing out on some good stories. I need to also get the new Batwing too, heard lots of good things about that one too.

With Hair Extensions.
I mean, I apologize... Gina Carano would be great as that character.
However, I believe they are grooming her to be Wonder Woman.
