Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb.

once upon a time in my hardcore punk days, I would go see a band and before the band would start many venues would not only play punk warm up music to get the crowd "amped" up, but would also show all sorts of films/videos on a giant screen dropped down from the ceiling at the stage.

anyway, I had gone to see Johnny Thunders and while the warm up music was playing, they were showing the bomb scene from the Batman movie.

It was such an amazing experience watching, not just the movie, but the reactions of these truly hardcore punks laughing and reacting like little kids again.

It will be one of fondest memory from those times.

I watched it on a high school class trip. My teacher said we were going to watch Batman and I assumed he meant Batman Begins, which had just came out, oh god how wrong I was. I despise Adam West's "Batman" with a passion. It's a poor joke.
