Ah fun, these days not only am I doing long form journalism

but also starting to put together packages for radio. The writing for radio is very different from long form journalism and at times includes things like gathering the sound of shuffling feet.

It is also very different since you need to write for the ear, and I do not have the space for 3000 plus sized essays.

Spread wings and all that I s'pose.

Your posts always inform and inspire. Congrats on your new venture! I'm a sometimes-published writer whose Muse has been hibernating for far too long. Time to wake it up and start putting words to paper, with that ever-elusive goal of sharing them with others. Keep updating us on your writer's journey--like I said, you're an inspiration!
