I was disappointed when they didn't qualify.

I love soccer. Don't know why it gets such a bad rap in the US.

Oh well, the US Women's team are playing well and their World Cup performance was fun to watch. Expecting a good run.

The U.S. is at least a generation away from producing enough male world class soccer players -- right now, they're too busy trying to play pro baseball, basketball, and football.

it was only the U-23 team. None of the major nations take the Olympic soccer competition very seriously. The loss in qualifying does raise questions about US soccer in the future however...
