Both K-State and Notre Dame have a higher computer rank than Alabama.

And there are 6 Big 12 teams and uh... 1 Big 10.

1. Oh, FFS. The Ohio State University would kick the shit out of the #2-4 rated teams.

A game against Alabama would be interesting.

2. Of course, that would mean they'd have to schedule a tough out-of-conference game.

Not having a conference championship before, I know Ohio St. was willing to do that, but now with the conference championship, they don't need that additional "tough game" anymore.

Also, Urban Meyer doesn't seem to like them. Based on his time at Florida, I'd say he prefers the "little sisters of the poor" for his out-of-conference games.

3. Ohio State seems to be doing that

They recently scheduled home-and-home series w/ Oregon, Texas, and TCU. The games are so far down the road (like 2019) that the opponents could be tough or weak. But they're scheduling teams that are known for being tough.

6. I wasn't aware of this, it's very surprising to me.

I wonder if this was something in the works before the big 10 added the conference championship game and Urban Meyer came aboard, or if it was something he was for.
