John Harbaugh not impressed with Manti Te’o...

And in one disapproving nod, Manti Te’o's draft stock plummeted. NFL Network went split screen with John Harbaugh as Te’o ran the 40-yard dash today. The 4.8 did not impress him.

Ouch. Te’o's off the field problems aside, this is just ugly. No, you don’t need to be a burner to play inside at the NFL level but you damn well better not miss tackles—something he made a habit of in the National Championship game.

I read where this guy's 4.81 was 20th out of 26 linebackers. While 12 defensive lineman , including a couple at 300 lbs, ran at least that fast..

Harbaugh could have been saying, "No, I'm good. I don't need a cup of coffee."

As if he's a king-maker or something...

4. Nevertheless the combine isn't doing Te'o any favors..

His time was 20th of the 26 linebackers who ran at the combine Monday. Missouri's Zaviar Gooden ran a 4.47, the fastest time among the linebackers.

Te'o participated in five of the seven drills, opting out of the bench press and 60-yard shuttle, and did not finish ranked among the top five at his position in any of them.

His vertical jump was 33 inches, far below Southern Mississippi's Jamie Collins' positional best of 41½. Te'o jumped 113 inches in the broad jump. He finished the three-cone drill in 7.13 seconds, well off the pace set by Gooden (6.71). Te'o completed the 20-yard shuttle in 4.27 seconds, again behind Gooden's 4.18.

Another story by John Clayton speculated his poor showing may drop Te'o out of the 1st round.

Brian "The Genius" Billick was.

And Ray Ray pled down to obstruction of justice -- the same charge they got Barroid on!

As for 'roids, I still wish someone had shown up at the game with a Lewis jersey and a set of fake deer antlers.
