but she left town rather suddenly after the little dustup over her being such a homophobe. So Costas had to step in at the last minute. 
As for the weather, we're in the middle of perhaps the driest winter season in recorded history. Figures. Just like when people shelled out thousands of bucks for tickets to the Cubs' first night game at Wrigley on 8/8/88. In the middle of one of Chicago's driest summers. So of course it's rained out. Speaking of which, why wasn't this game postponed? Were there rain delays?
