The ump only warned Dempster then ejected Girardi.

A-Fraud is up again!

4. Why Dempster and not all the other pitchers he's faced...

since he was accused of naming other supposed PED players.

A-Roid is now officially a pariah. Not even his GM wants to talk to him.

3. Wow. Listening to the Sox game on WEEI - announcers think reason Dempster not tossed

is because the Umps "support" the message - meaning that A Rod is playing is a garbage move....

Pretty interesting - lots of drama in the game (and the Sox are winning, so far anyway)

I didn't see the game. Were there any previous incidents? Did the umps have a reason to believe it was intentional? From what I saw, it looked dirty to me, but I don't know if it's 100% clear.

if they would have pulled Dempster, maybe Farrell wouldn't have left him in to get shelled (then again the bullpen isn't much better tonight).

15. That's not correct, though, there are plenty of reasons to throw behind someone.

What if you're "Just trying to work the inside of the plate" or if you're "trying to throw the two-seamer in"?

Having said that, of course Dempster was throwing at him.

17. Well we can definitely agree he was trying to work the inside of the plate. I have always

had so much disdain for ARod - so much money - such attitude and lack of performance. But, I am starting to actually feel sorry for him given the whole world despises him. How much public humiliation can one person take - even a consummate egotist? What's really kind of ironic about the whole thing is that FINALLY I see fire in his eyes - He's clean now and he seems to be actually trying.

I can't stand A-Rod and his tactics but it's not the job of a pitcher to exact justice during a game. Alex is playing right now under the rules that the players agreed to so they're stuck with that process playing out.

It makes my teeth itch to see that lying, cheating narcissist in the line-up hiding behind his attorneys and getting his way but it is what it is. Dempster should've been ejected rather than Girardi but the dumbhead pitcher kicked the sleeping dog. His stupid move motivated the players to pour it on and win the game.

karma is krappy when you are intentionally stupid and mean.

Having said that, I'm glad the Sox still have a 1 game lead on the Rays

He never plunked Pujols while with the Cubs. Why? Pujols may have killed him. And Rodriguez is in no position to fight back right now. If Dempster doesn't get a suspension for his actions, that tells me that MLB has it in for Rodriguez and it will be open season on him.
Leave it to the red cocks to actually make people have sympathy for anything yankee.
I just thought of something: Maybe Dempster had 'roid rage and that's why he hit Rodriguez after throwing at him three times.

14. We'll have to see if A-rod releases any documents about Dempster in the next week or two, I guess.

I am a Yankees fan, but can't stand A-Rod. They need to retire his cheating ass. And get rid of anyone else that used an illegal substance.
