Raiders' Terrell Pryor to start opener, according to sources

Pryor, late owner Al Davis' last draft pick in 2011 as a supplemental third-rounder, has improved his throwing mechanics but won the job (over Matt Flynn) because of his ability to improvise with his feet. He was 14-for-24 for 190 yards and a touchdown with one interception this preseason, and ran the ball 11 times for 83 yards and a touchdown.

Good luck dude. You play for what is potentially the worst team in the NFL. You're going to need those legs.

they owe about $40 million in salary cap money to players no longer with the team. They're putting the best spin on it as they can, but they're still destined for last place and perhaps the worst record in football.

Pryor is one of the few playmakers on the team. With a rookie end blocking his blind side he's going to get his get ass kicked.

the loss of a first round draft pick in 2012.

I believe we're looking at another three to four years before they can be taken seriously.
