God Bless Boston Sports.

Brady, with a suspect offense, wins the game with 5 seconds left. The Red Sox, behind 5-1 in the 8th, win it in the 9th....seriously, you have to be blessed to be a New England sports fan. I think God loves us...otherwise, how to explain?

Scherzer was over 100 pitches - another example of how pitch count is misused, in my view... NRaleighLiberal Oct 2013 #2
Both Scherzer and Verlander are known for pitching well over. ScreamingMeemie Oct 2013 #4
Sanchez was remarkable - nothing was straight, nothing was centered. Painted all night. NRaleighLiberal Oct 2013 #5

He'll regret that forever.

So unless Leyland is "God," I believe you're mistaken.

And Brady pulled it off today because I hate the Saints. Go Pack GOOOOO!

to think that starters used to go 250-300 innings not all that long ago!

however, I was happy to see the hook come out for him!

Sox batters do wear out pitchers with their patience - and all those Ks up the pitch total as well

I think they'll have a tough time with our starters throughout. Especially since our "weakest" got the win.

I thought it would be Boston in 6...now thinking it will go 7. Coin flip as to who wins it. Should be all exciting games.

Only win Detroit got...they do better against your "best" pitchers as opposed to your "weakest" one.

when you pitching a no-hitter and you've exhausted your pitch count by the 6th inning...you know it's not an easy team to face.

I responded on another thread to you, but I really like your team.

I just like my team better. If Detroit wins, great! But....I think this Red Sox team is going to split in Detroit and win in Boston. Either way, I hope Detroit or Boston wins the WS.

GOOD LUCK!

I never want to see another post about Miami Heat fans leaving a game early. Because, well 34,000 of the fans left yesterday's game early. I guess they had to hit another bar before the Sawx game started
