NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) / November 5, 2013 James Dolan is unhappy, and apparently hes taking it out on the Knicks City Dancers.
The Knicks owner was ready to erupt during Sundays lopsided loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to the New York Daily News. He reportedly went on a manhunt for Steve Mills, finding his new general manager in a suite at the renovated Madison Square Garden.
Though Mills may have absorbed the brunt of it, the Daily News reported that Dolan also delivered an edict for the game-day entertainment, ordering the teams dancers to stop, well, dancing.

Dolan reportedly told coaches and executives before this season that he expects nothing short of an NBA title in 2013-14.
New York is off to a 1-2 start. The Knicks allowed Minnesota to score 40 first-quarter points Sunday.

The Knick City Dancers were relegated to tossing t-shirts into the stands, instead.

(21,784 posts)Neither the Knicks nor the Rangers will contend for, much less win, an NBA title or Stanley Cup as long as Dolan is alive and kicking.
