Brown gives no hints about future: 'What we need to do is go beat Oregon'

At the annual Longhorns’ Football Banquet on Friday, Brown ended the ceremony by looking ahead to Texas’ next game, while still not making any affirmation about his long-term future.

“I’m proud of this team,” Brown said. “It’s been a team with no excuses, it’s been a team with no regrets and now what we need to do is go beat Oregon.”

Or at least the Bluest part of it, the Bay Area. Our window is already closing thanks to the meteoric, completely legitimate rise of the 'Roidhawks. His departure would usher in another era of 6-10 mediocrity.
