Hey, what with 2 new tackles, a new linebacker, an injury and fumble prone RB, and a bunch of rooks at wideout - all I wanted was interesting football in December. Everything else is gravy with the Chargers at this point.

Seriously - who thought a rookie wide receiver would catch for 1000 yards and 8 TDs?

6. Boise State gives the Aztecs fits

They should have lost to them in Viejas last year if the guy didn't clank a wide-open 3 off the back of the rim at the buzzer. They also took them to the buzzer in the MWC tourney.

Hopefully adding the height they did this year will shore up those matchup problems. If they get a couple guys hot draining treys at the same time tonight, it is gonna be a long night.

8. wow! that was much closer than it should have been..

all these MWC matchups are always really tight. They'll be in the Springs on Sunday, and conflicting with the Charger game.

9. Yep - we were there last night.

It looked like it was over at one point when SDSU was up by 15, but then Boise St went on a run and actually scored a lot of points attacking the inside instead of relying on their perimeter shooting...happens every time with these two.

Boise St was actually picked ahead of SDSU at the beginning of the year.

They are saying that there will only be 2 teams out of the MWC going to the NCAA tourney this year, so every win is gonna be hard fought and critical. And of course the #13 ranked team is gonna get everyone's A-game in the conference. Nice to be the team that everyone circles on the calender.
