I cannot watch this USA v. Canada Women's Hockey

Brings back far too many nail biters from when my daughter played hockey from Boys HS JV through Women's College Hockey. She, too, was considered a small "D". While forwards can not win games, D's can certainly lose them. The only more excruciating position is a Goalie. Had that conversation many a time with Goalie Moms, who had both sons and daughters Goalies. My daughter played with, and against, some of the women who have been on these Olympic teams in HS and College. I know when they are on the ice they don't think about any of what I posted, but as a Mother, I tear my hair out, and know what they family, and countries, are going through.
