One thing lost in all the UConn hoopla

(get it? HOOP-la? ) is that, from a conference perspective, the hastily thrown together AAC took down not one but two teams from the mighty SEC in Arlington, and beat a rather good team from the B1G to get there.

Don't mean squat anymore. There's such parity these days. Mid majors do as well as power conference schools.
