golf- no masters talk

Is this the future without Tiger? I heard the announcers saying that the buzz is missed. even this page seems to be ignoring the masters. For my money I'll take the U.s. open and the British any day of the week.

1. There are things I like about the Masters and things I loathe

I like the challenge the course provides. And it's just beautiful to look at. It's a great setting with or without Woods.

I like the subdued behavior of the gallery (no douchebags yelling "It's in the hole&quot .

There's more golf coverage and fewer commercials.

But enough with the sanctimonious broadcast coverage. It's sickening.

remember how long it took to drag them into the 20th century (let alone the 21st) and admit women members?

6. Bode Miller paid $7,500 to see the Masters, but couldn't bring a quesadilla inside

Can you say 1%er?? 7,500 to see the Masters??? Yikes....

Olympic skier Bode Miller and his wife Morgan Beck are at the Masters. But on their way to watch some golf Thursday, the couple was stopped and ordered to hand over the quesadilla they bought from the club’s fancy hospitality suite, as it wasn’t allowed on the course.

Miller wasn’t happy about it.

Augusta is too tricked up. That's not what Bobby Jones wanted, but that's what it became. Fairways and greens are TOO fast. No reason why a shot that hits the green should ever roll 75 feet off the back of a green. That's just trick golf.

Too many "i made 5 lucky putts in 72 holes" winners in the last 10 years. They need to tame the course and just accept that these guys will anihilate that layout. I'd be ok with one major being won at 20 under.

8. lousy field also

worst field of any of the majors and worst field of almost any tournament. sixty year old guys playing is a joke. i bet ratings are way down this year with tiger and Phil out. Couldn't happen to a shittier bunch of guys(members). Condi Rice(war criminal) is a member(puke).

I hate the way the speak about it( like it's the greatest).Any tournament that i can't buy a ticket for is a tournament that I basically can't stand.
