Rutgers quarterback Philip Nelson, a recent transfer from the University of Minnesota, was arrested for allegedly assaulting another football player in Mankato, Minn. early Sunday morning, according to multiple reports.
Nelson was arrested on suspicion of assaulting Isaac Kolstad, a 24-year-old linebacker for the Minnesota State-Mankato Mavericks. Kolstad is listed in critical condition at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.
