As a matter of fact it is just the opposite. i do very difficult work that takes deep concentration for long periods of time.

Or Belgium against us? (18, 16 of which Tim Howard saved.)

Are pitcher's duels the reason baseball doesn't catch on in America?

Why is it the only game that doesn't end the game playing the game. shootouts are not the game. None of you guys can ever take any criticism of your" Beautiful "game". It is fundamentally flawed. It has never figured out how to end it playing the game.

but they have so far resisted the temptation to use them in the playoffs.

indeed, they play in shifts of a minute or less.

Perhaps more subs should be allowed in "extra extra time". That way a side's depth would come into play, not just its starting XI plus two or three.

It is kinda like a shootout.

Though I don't think whether the NHL has a shootout or not affects popularity in the US significantly. Soccer leagues came before most of the US sports so they have a limited substition rule on the largest playing surface. The strategy on who to sub and who to leave in that may be too tired, decisions often swing games late. I have noticed a lot of late and extra time goals.

There were clinics being put on by both sides as to defense. You probably don't like 3-0 defensive football games, too.

i think the perfect score for football is 21-17 or 3 scores to 2 and 1/2 scores. i think for baseball it is 4-2 or 5-3. Soccer regularly has 0-0 games and all i said is that because of that it will never really catch on in the U.S.

Who got a penalties and where? Oh! The viewers (like me) were penalized.

Just play "extra time" until they drop dead. That's the way baseball is.
