though Hudson should know better. Whatever he had between his legs gave up 8 hits and 6 runs in one inning on Sept. 13th vs the Dodgers. In the next start, Sept. 20th, the same thing gave up 4 hits and 4 runs in the first inning against the Padres. Those were two games in which he was really counted on to deliver.

Giants are underdogs as it is ... with only two dominate starters, no less.
