The footage starts in the middle of the beating, so it’s unclear what sparked it. A man in a Jerry Rice jersey is clearly shown kicking the Vikings fan in the head near the beginning of the video. One overmatched staff member tries to stop the beating, but isn’t very effective until some other 49ers fans jump in to help settle things down.



The video is pretty bad. I guess the Vikings fan said something to the effect: what’s up, any of you f---ers want some?!
Not sure that was worth getting beat up, though

It wouldn't merit being attacked. It might offer mitigation to the severity of charges or result in the fan being banned, but the attackers should still face legal consequences.
