Two TCU players suspended after arrest on robbery, bodily injury charges
Two TCU players were suspended from the team Monday after they were arrested Monday on felony complaint charges of robbery and bodily injury.
Team officials confirmed that TCU defensive end Mike Tuaua and backup wide receiver Andre Petties-Wilson were suspended after their arrest earlier in the day. Fort Worth police confirmed their arrest.
The two players are accused on kicking and punching another TCU student, stealing a case of Keystone Light beer from him in an incident that occurred on Sept. 4.
After a strong season last year, Tuaua was counted to be one of the Horned Frogs’ top pass-rushing threats. But he has not played in TCU’s last two games.
