That's what you get for having 12 teams in a conference. You play a bunch of non-conference patsies and don't have to play the best in your conference - unlike the Big 12 (10).

(16,113 posts)argument you're making now? You think the Big 12 isn't salivating at the idea of getting it's conf championship game back? Hell, if they had one last year they might have had at least ONE team in the BCS playoff.

TCU got flat-out fucked by the committee. They lost only one wild game by only three points.

The same teams have often played each other already.
The much better team can have a bad game and lose.

(20,365 posts)But I don't like it either.
It's subjective and unfair to teams like TCU. And adding more teams and another round is bad for academics. But some would say: what academics?

In either case, it looks like TCU might be in the process of making all this a moot point for this season.

BTW, where is your argument that the FCS has a tournament so why not the FBS? I can't answer that because I know next to nothing about the FCS.

(3,811 posts)And yet, they barely escaped Northern Illinois. It's a lot easier to be strong at the end of the season when your schedule is as easy as this.
