So when does O*** S*** play a ranked team? Not until the second to the last game of the season.

What a cream puff schedule! No Wisconsin. No Northwestern.

Sept 7: Ohio State 42, Virginia Tech 24
Sept. 12: Ohio State 38, Hawaii 0
Sept. 19: Ohio State 20, Northern Illinois 13
Sept. 26: Western Michigan, 3:30 p.m., ABC, ESPN2
Oct. 3: at Indiana, 3:30 p.m., ABC, ESPN2
Oct. 10: Maryland, noon
Oct. 17: Penn State, 8 p.m., ESPN or ABC
Oct. 24: at Rutgers, 8 p.m., ESPN or ABC
Oct. 31: Off
Nov. 7: Minnesota, 7 or 8 p.m., ESPN or ABC
Nov. 14: at Illinois
Nov. 21: Michigan State
Nov. 28: at Michigan

That's what you get for having 12 teams in a conference. You play a bunch of non-conference patsies and don't have to play the best in your conference - unlike the Big 12 (10).

but if Omaha Steve plays any other team than Team Marta things will get really rank and staunchy. Here is a couch so Steve can hide.

argument you're making now? You think the Big 12 isn't salivating at the idea of getting it's conf championship game back? Hell, if they had one last year they might have had at least ONE team in the BCS playoff.

And their president, Ken Starr.

TCU got flat-out fucked by the committee. They lost only one wild game by only three points.

An extra game to have injuries.
The same teams have often played each other already.
The much better team can have a bad game and lose.

But I don't like it either.

It's subjective and unfair to teams like TCU. And adding more teams and another round is bad for academics. But some would say: what academics?

I liked the old bowl system better. Let the AP decide.

which teams get to play for it.

In either case, it looks like TCU might be in the process of making all this a moot point for this season.

And still a lot of time left in that game.

BTW, where is your argument that the FCS has a tournament so why not the FBS? I can't answer that because I know next to nothing about the FCS.

And yet, they barely escaped Northern Illinois. It's a lot easier to be strong at the end of the season when your schedule is as easy as this.
