My son is a Lions fan, and I take the sport in the manner it was intended. The Packers deserved to lose this but they didn't. I also refer you to the obvious Bell hold on Matthews in Detroit's final series. Would I have pointed to that if they lost? No. Stuff happens, but I don't go all crazy mean, and that last loss to Detroit at home hurt a lot.

If a team deserves to lose, they shouldn't have the game handed to them by phantom calls. You can go 'crazy mea'n or whatever you want, that's your privilege.

'Stuff happens' my ass. I am sick of losing to bad calls. This game was handed to the Packers. There is nothing ok about egregious bad calls resulting in a loss for one of the teams. That is unforgivable. Something needs to be done about these officials.

Lived in beautiful Michigan for 27 years. I wrote a post here a couple years ago on how I thought the refs were taking it out on the Lions for Suh (I also wrote way back then that I didn't believe Suh was guilty of a stomp on Dietrich-Smith--it shows in that D-S never commented on it except to say they'd moved on)


And, on edit, I've been a rabid Tigers fan since the Brewers left the AL.

11. I'm not mad at the Packers

They're one of my favorite teams. It's these clown OFFICIALS. We really need some changes. Bad calls should not be able to steal a game. The Lions deserved to win tonight. I am sick and tired of having games stolen from us.
