Really doesn't know the Lions do they?

"Hey guys lets find a way to lose this game after it's over "

Only the Lions will find a way!

And I stayed up for that.

I shut it off upset after Detroit got a first down approaching the 2 minute warning. Was stunned to wake up and see that.

say what you want about them...this was another horrible game-deciding call by a referee. I blame the NFL for this. How is a call like that not reviewable??? Utter horseshit. There was no facemask. And they ended up losing a game that they had won.

The NFL has to clean this up. If I was Mrs. Ford I would tell them I'm removing ALL advertising until they clean up their act.

This make 2 games this year lost because of bad officiating. And remember the travesty in Dallas last year.

In real time every one and their mother thought it was a Facemask. Believe me---that's not even close to being the worse call by a ref this year.

BTW: I blame the fucking Lions for leaving a hail mary pass that wide open. Horrible play by the Lions.

Just because his thumb brushes it doesn't make it a grasp. The rule says even if he grabs it he has to let go right away or it will be a facemask. He never even grabbed it.

NO FACEMASK. Look up the rule if you want. Another game outcome changed because of a bad call that isn't reviewable. Why isn't it reviewable? The NFL needs to clean this up.

They took thier foot off the gas pedal in the second half. Offensively.
The play calling got a little conservative.

A bad call on a fackmask, yes, but it should not have come down to that. They had no answer to the GB defense.

However they played well enough to win the game; in fact they DID win. It was taken from them by an incorrect call that should be reviewable. The NFL is fucked for not fixing that last year. This is the 3rd time in 2 years the Lions get a loss because of bad officiating. Say what you like about where they screwed up. They still won the game.

I was actually pulling for them last night a little. Seeing their struggles against the Packers kinda reminds me of what the Raiders have been going through with the Broncos for the past few years. Their fans are tough to go through all this suffering and dumb losses.

They had a chance to fix this rule last year and they didn't. They are completely corrupt.

I don't complain when I lose fair and square. But this is horse shit.

This call changed the outcome of a game. Come along now, don't pretend you don't understand.

They review EVERY touchdown. They should review every call that changes the outcome of the game.

The bogus facemask penalty is the one in question. It changed the outcome of the game. Are you saying you really don't understand that? Come now.

A missed hold on a 3rd down in the second quarter can result in a touchdown on that drive which in turn influences how the rest of the game is played.

The Lions should have played the untimed down better. They didn't rush with their best pass rusher, they didn't have Calvin Johnson on the field and they didn't defend the pass.

They played well enough to win, no matter how many fuckups. The Packers had some screwups too. So Fucking What.

The point you seem to be missing, for reasons unknown to me, is that they won that game and had it taken from them. There never should have been an opportunity for the last fuckup. This is on the NFL rules that say that play was unreviewable. Every touchdown is reviewable; why? Because it affects the outcome of the game. Why was that play unreviewable? The NFL's bad rules cost the Lions ANOTHER game. That's the 3rd time in 2 years I've seen a travesty like this.

If you don't want to understand, that is your option. Our season is over now, and it's not the fault of the Lions.

because while the defender's thumb did make contact with the mask, he never grabbed it with his entire hand -- he grabbed Rodger's SHOULDER PAD:

But of course it's nobody's fault that the play wasn't reviewable. Combined with how badly Detroit defended against BOTH the Rodgers on the Hail Mary pass, there's enough blame to go around.
