It looked like jockey Ortiz was trying everything to get Tapwrit to get going all down the final stretch, then at the last possible moment - Boom!

....and Irish War Cry starting to backup a little bit. Congrats to sire Tapit whose get have won 3 of the last four Belmonts.

....and 2 of the top 3 Belmont finishers yesterday in Tapwrit and Patch. The Bold Ruler line continues into the 21st century.
