FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) Police say the home of New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was robbed while he was away at the Super Bowl.
Foxborough Police Chief William Baker confirmed Tuesday morning that his department is investigating a burglary at Gronkowskis home.
He said officers responded to the home just after 6 p.m. Monday.
Baker said out of respect for Mr. Gronkowskis privacy and because this is an active and dynamic criminal investigation were not going to be releasing any information right now about what was stolen and whether any suspects exist.

(28,469 posts)Although given that the players are out of town so much, both during the regular season and after, it might be surprising that more of their homes aren't burglarized at such times.

(9,527 posts)There are a couple of things I find kind of odd about it. First, he has two housemates. I'm assuming that's to have the whole bro thing going, but still weird. Second the burglars broke into the house, but couldn't beat his bedroom lock?
