3 over on 2 holes with 5 to play. Both were mental errors, too.

8. Shouldn't have tried that flop shot after getting break from spectator ricochet

A bogey would have been acceptable.

Whenever I walk tournaments I'm amazed at how many low percentage super flop shots the pros try. Seldom works and often leads to shots thrown away.

The next hole he played way too conservatively, leading to a 250 yard approach out of the rough. Rory hit driver on that hole and basically had 100 yards less.

Always great to have Tiger in the mix. The golf message boards were going nuts.
