Some less-than-prolific QB performances today

Quite a few quarterbacks put up very little yardage through the air. Some vets, some inexperienced...

Matt Ryan 16/26, 131 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT

Lamar Jackson 12/21, 125 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT (1 rush TD)

Eli Manning 19/35, 170 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

Ryan Tannehill 16/24, 137 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT

Josh Rosen 11/26, 149 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT

Cody Kessler 18/24, 150 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT

Jared Goff 17/33 207 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

And let's not forget Drew Brees from Thursday's loss against Dallas:

Drew Brees 18/28, 127 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

Despite the unimpressive stats, Rosen, Jackson, Manning, Tannehill and Goff were winners though.

I'll stick with NCAA College Football. I find the NFL increasingly unwatchable. hlthe2b Dec 2018 #2

Look how defenses adjusted to that group of running qb's a few years ago.

Now defenses have learned to limit qb's extending plays, and force a pass in about 2 seconds.

Haven't watched an NFL game this century so far, I think. I was raised in a sports crazy house.

but I sure do like Saturdays.
