Wildcats run table kick Gator ass on the road 74-59.

Do we really need to play all those tournament games? Yeah, I want this season to last.
Seen some great players here through the last 4 decades, this Anthony Davis is special.

ASU basketball takes joy in damaging Arizona Wildcats' NCAA tourney hopes

"This was fun," said Jonathan Gilling, the Sun Devil's 6-foot-7 freshman from Denmark. "I never tried anything like this."

Membership to this rivalry certainly has its privileges.

Just like that, a 9-20 ASU team did a number on the Wildcats' postseason hopes. Arizona probably will have to win the Pac-12 Tournament to grab the selection committee's attention.

"We're not good enough to be an NCAA Tournament team right now," Arizona coach Sean Miller said.

No argument after loss to ASU: Wildcats 'not good enough' for NCAAs

TEMPE -- As Arizona State celebrated in its locker room, the Sun Devils' vice president of athletics, Lisa Love, met in the hallway with a small group of people.

"Was that fun or what?" she said with a grin.

That's the way it is in sports.

One rival's fun is another's agony (see, Arizona-ASU football, 2011).

On this Sunday in Wells Fargo Arena, Arizona State's most fun day of the basketball season -- by far -- was the one the Arizona Wildcats likely will regret the most.
