The show was about horse racing and was shot at Santa Anita.
Several horses died during the filming so they canceled it after the first season.

....this has been an ongoing issue for several months and only now are they bringing in outside help. I have to assume something has changed with the surface due to the weather out in SoCal this Winter. It is a goddamn shame that they waited this long to suspend racing and training.
