I watched one the other day and finally 'got it' visually, not just intellectually, and today I caught it happening visually for the first time!

9. I think the addition of the VAR is a great idea.

With scoring opportunities as limited as they are in this sport, a lousy ref call has disproportional influence.

I've been watching soccer for about 25 years now, and everytime I think I understand the offside rule, some ref calls it badly and confuses me yet again.
