With Roethlisberger out as Steelers QB, coach Mike Tomlin has the opportunity to sigh a roster...

replacement, Colin Kaepernick. They happen to be fraternity brothers in Kappa Alpha Psi. Hope that influence the coach to give Kap the opportunity he deserves.

2. My point is they can't go with just one QB. There has to be another on the roster if one gets hurt..

then, most certainly if it's in the best interest of the team.

Remember, Tomlin wasn't afraid to have Mike Vick on the team and I do believe if Kaepernick is the best available option, the Steelers as a franchise are not afraid to sign him.

only two weeks into the season—Big Ben, Brees, Foles and the Jets QB.

Make that five. The Jets back-up to their starter out with Mono went down in last night's game with a severe ankle injury. They are now down to their third string QB and will need to get at least one other QB on their roster too.

he does need to show what skills he still has.

Don't have a link but just heard that the Steelers signed Paxton Lynch to Practice Squad. That's only to give him time to learn the offense. I would guess he'll be on the active roster in a couple of weeks.

Not so much for what Kaepernick did but at this point he might be rusty but I thought the same thing when the Eagles signed Vick after a stint in prison.
