Messi blames La Liga for Barcelona departure.
La Liga basically has a salary cap for Barcelona because they have been mismanaged into deep debt. This is also partly why Barcelona and Real Madrid wanted to start the Super League. They think they have a right to high level competition without having the results to back it. Putting them in the Super League let’s them cut salaries and ride on TV money. That’s basically how the Clippers were managed for a long time.
The fact is that these big clubs don’t have a right to anything. In many cases, their time will pass and others will fill in.
