After this tournament, I'm done with the silly border war. I had a 'friend' unfriend me on Facebook because I posted 'Rock Chalk' on his FB wall. Last night I had another Mizzou fan/friend post on my wall that he was turning off the game because he just couldn't cheer for KU. I'm not a Mizzou fan, but if they were playing for the national championship, I'd cheer for them.

The border war has just grown too silly in the last 10 years or so. Good riddance.

You know, I will always root for Kansas if we're not in the game. The ugliness in this rivalry seems to have paralleled the Republican culture wars. And, while some people might start fitting me for a tinfoil hat here, at times I feel that the invitation to the SEC "brotherhood" was as much about politics in a 50/50 swing state as it was about money and television viewers.

Good luck to KU in the future. Hopefully, cooler heads will prevail someday and we can get our history back.

Well Kansas University Basketball has spanked all the big media teams..couple hillbilly teams and the biggest, overrated hillbilly team of them all is just one more sunset away from headin back to the house..

Amazing athletic ability's, amazing determination...I mean ohio looked like they were thinking about something else, like they didn't care...until two (2) late...hee hee

One of the announcers on CBS mentioned it last night.

Big media might have wanted a larger market like they may get with east coast teams. I can certainly understand that.

But neither one of these teams is a hillbilly team.

But after the way the Jayhawks have played in this tournament, I am no longer so sure. I believe it will be a good close game.

I think we lost our tightass in the Louisville game. I have never seen the tension in the state so high.
I think Kansas is loose and RTG too.
I'm thinking Kentucky by 7.
Adolph was a Kansas boy.
