30 cars that never should have been built

1955 Dodge La Femme
“This beast of a tragedy was breathed into existence in the 1950s. Its purpose? To give woman an alternative to cars that apparently were only constructed for men. This is a manufacturing trend I didn’t realize was in existence. The car cam in pink and white, just the right color for your female counterpart.”

1997 Plymouth Prowler
"It’s uncertain why the engineers thought there was a market for this abysmal creation. The Plymouth Prowler seems to have been constructed such that it would cater to the American Graffiti enthusiast that exists within each of us."

1958 Zundapp Janus
“While the Germans have crafted themselves many a wonderful vehicle, the Zundapp Janus was not one. Having entryways at both its rear and front side, this car not only looks too quirky for most consumers but was also uncomfortable.”

1957 King Midget Model III
“Made in an era when tact and kindness were apparently in short supply, this car was beyond abominable. The idea behind this car was that it would be a savvy alternative to the fancy (and expensive) cars that were then making the rounds among the narrow streets of foggy London.”

The other three cars pictured in this post are not as aesthetically pleasing.

To compete against the "femme" my friends mom got a hot pink '55 ford!! neat car.. 292 V8, the works.. Gus couldn't resist anything his wife wanted... I agree with the prowler.. what an abortion.. The zundap looks like a post war econobox Messerschmidt...... I use to drool over the king midget in Popular Science and Pop Mechanics.... It looked like an upscale go kart!
I totally agree about the Pontiac Aztec.. Looks like it was designed by comity.
Ahhh the YUgo..... a soviet block knock off of an unreliable Fiat..... I mean what were they thinking??

9. 1971 Chevrolet ??
The caption refers to a Vega, but the pic is a Chevelle, definitely NOT an undesirable car for GM enthusiasts.
