Outlaw the Shift.

I know it's been around since it was robbing Ted Williams. Shortstop is not the short right fielder, and second baseman is not up the middle player. Like in football you have to start with a certain amount of players on the line.

And, get off my grass.

1. Not "amount". Number. If you like people, refer to people as individuals, not aggregates.

Dirt is measured in an "amount" because it is not countable.

There are a few power pull hitters that couldn't hit to the opposite field if their lives and game depended on it. The SF Giants first baseman, Branden Belt, is one of those dinosaurs who just can't do it; the shift on him is often comically ridiculous, and Belt couldn't bunt his way out of a wet paper sack.
