At least it's a series this year. That would've been a heartbreaker of a 1 and done elimination game

9. Yeah, I was never a fan of the one-game showdown

I realize the series means more revenue for MLB, but I won't begrudge them that in this instance. Prefer the series for sure.

I thought the wildcard thing was just one game, but I'm cool with three games.

If the Padres knock out the Mets, they go right back to playing their mortal enemy, the Dodgers. If that comes to be, I guarantee it will be a tremendous series.
