1. They keep building nests on phone poles here.

They seem to be everywhere around the lake. I don't recall ever seeing a nest at all until the past couple years.

2. Seems they've liked phone poles for a long time;

I hadn't noticed until became familiar with 'mine,' who built this nest on roof of small boat house many years ago (according to neighbor; I've been here for 7 years.) Spotted one a few years ago, on top of lighthouse.

4. They hang around the nest,

and as they're so 'mature' now, maybe they've found more protected spots???

Light wind, and 'only' 75 degrees, so not too unpleasant; will check nest in a while.
