(75,726 posts)We don't subscribe to Netflix so there's 2 games gone. With what we spend on cable, I'm not adding Netfkix for a couple football games.
We have Prime, but that game starts at 7:30, so doubtful I'll see much of it.
The NBA got me back on Christmas I guess.

(6,047 posts)I already had Amazon Prime for the free shipping advantage, so Im able to watch the Thursday night games. But other than that, I dont miss the mediocre games offered on the premium channels.
I will not contribute to the greed and gluttony of the NFL owners and players, or for that matter, any other professional sports league.
Theyll continue to feed their unlimited greed for as long as the gullible sports fan continue paying their ridiculous ransoms.

It's gotten easier not to watch.
The NFL has broken my habit.
I could get the ppv but aside from football I don't watch anything. No value! Just like fast food and Vegas.

(457 posts)We found a free and nefarious way to watch but to be honest we are cable people and not in the younger demographic. NFL is brilliant at what they do and what they r doing is targeting the youngsters who have cut the cord.

(32,831 posts)Neither of the Netflix games were playoff relevant. Although I currently subscribe, I had more important priorities than Christmas football.
And while Denver was playing on Prime for the playoff bye, it was more or less a formality over a QB-challenged Chiefs team.
All the match-ups looked great on paper months ago.
Sunday Night Football lucked out with Chicago @ San Francisco.
