Bills' new Highmark Stadium won't feature any mention of O.J. Simpson: 'Not a fit'

The Buffalo Bills are making the move to their new Highmark Stadium after five decades at Ralph Wilson Stadium. They aren't taking O.J. Simpson with them.

Simpson, the first inductee of the Bills' Wall of Fame at their old home, will not be included in any of Highmark Stadium's new displays inside or outside the stadium, team officials told WIVB News 4. That includes the Family Circle, an outdoor plaza that will feature plaques honoring Wall of Fame inductees.

From WIVB:

"We have made an organizational decision that he is not a fit to display inside our new stadium and family circle." said Pete Guelli, chief operating officer for the Bills, in a statement on Saturday.

The Bills' reason for doing this should hopefully be obvious. Simpson, who died in 2024, spent the final three decades of his life as a public pariah following a murder trial in which he was found not guilty for the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman.

DA Marcia Clark really messed up that prosecution in so many ways.
Any Most idiots know that leather, when soaked in water (not to mention blood) and then allowed to dry, will get stiff and shrink.
When Johnnie Cochran said, "If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit," during the trial I was screaming at the TV, "bullshit, bullshit." Apparently Marcia, or anyone else for the prosecution team, didn't hear me from 2,500 miles away. I still can't believe no one on the prosecution knew that.

Anyway, OJ got away with multiple murders. A true miscarriage of justice, and I'm very happy Orenthal James Simpson's name will be omitted from the new stadiums, "Wall of Fame." Perhaps if they start a "Wall of Infamy"........ 🤔

A fitted leather glove.
A year after being soaked, as you said, in blood or water.
He had to wear protective surgical gloves of course.
Cochran set stakes.
When I saw how OJ was stretching out his hand with all those other factors it couldn’t fit.

I was still shocked by the verdict but we’ve subsequently learned how the “Dream Team” manipulated both the jury and the jury selection process (there’s big money in that).

If anything positive came out it it was that Barry Scheck introduced DNA evidence to the mass public. Even if it didn’t get OJ off, it was making it more familiar which basically influenced the national jury pool to the benefit of a lot of defendants.

a few good things that came of it. Of course we still have our multiple-tiered justice system, where wealth can almost assure different "justice" than the common person receives.

There's still a lot of work to do. That's for certain.
