Oakland Raiders post huge win over Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football: Score, stats recap

The Oakland Raiders pronounced themselves a legitimate contender for the AFC West title and the AFC championship Sunday.

With running back Latavius Murray scoring three touchdowns and the Raiders (7-2) defense shutting down the Denver offense, the Raiders posted a 30-20 win over the defending Super Bowl champs on Sunday Night Football.

The Broncos (6-3) cut the Raiders lead to 30-20 after a 69-yard catch-and-run touchdown by Denver running back Kapri Bibbs with 5:04 remaining in the fourth quarter.

The Raiders took a 30-13 lead after a 1-yard run by Latavius Murray with 6:09 remaining in the fourth quarter.

The Oakland Raiders took a 20-10 lead over the Denver Broncos going into the third quarter of play. The Raiders took that lead after running back Latavius Murray scored on a 1-yard run, hsi second touchdown of the game.

They have been a legitimate contender for the title this entire season. They are reaping the rewards of last year's rebuild, and it showed from game one. I picked them in preseason to win the division.

And I live in San Diego and wear a lightening bolt on my hat all year.
